I am a Farmer's Wife

and so is Christa of Second Story Quilting.  Technically, we are both farmer's wives, but we are also following the Farmer's Wife sew along hosted by The Gnome Angel.  I've chosen my fat quarter collection of luscious Kim Diehl fabrics.
Our first of 99 blocks is Becky
the second is Bonnie
and the third block hasn't yet been revealed to the group, but I've taken a chance on the next block being Patience
I guess I'll sew four blocks this week if a different block is picked.  Angie said that we will be sewing them in order of easiest to the hardest, thus my pick of Patience.  The remaining weeks of the sew along have us scheduled to sew only two blocks a week.  I have also been busy sewing my Shiloh blocks together in rows and I have also started the flying geese border, but just barely.

Question:  Who do you think of first when you think of "success"?  Large scale, I'd have to say Oprah and closer to home I'd say my Dad.  Not so much financial success, but Dad knows how to treat people and to truly listen and that's genuinely successful to me.

I'm thinking that Christa will also be posting her blocks in the next couple days so click here to see what she has sewn up.
