A job well done!

Our quilt show has now come and gone.  I admit that I wasn't sold on the idea of another quilt show, but oh, it was worth it in the end!  It was an amazing success.  It is great to hear from more than a few people that our quilt show is their favorite to attend.  We have a few ladies in our group that rival Martha Stewart and they know how to entertain and host very well.  Our quilt show is special because of the extra special touches like our dessert corner

with real tea cups and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

This is what we started with

And some after shots

Migrating Geese

Two quilts in our show that I want to make

We also had three terrific vendors at our show

Thanks to Shirley, Arlyse and Heather for coming down to our show.

Only one thing was missing from our show...our wonderfully talented feature quilter, Irene, who had some health issues and couldn't make it.  We still got to enjoy her art.

Thanks to all of you who traveled from outside of our community to come to our show.  We really appreciated it.  And for those of you who are wondering how many buttons were on the button display in the entry, there were 1056 in total.
