Guild Meeting January 17, 2013

We didn't have much of a show and tell yesterday, but we did have a fantastic work day.  We all got down to the business of sewing and boy! did we sew!   Well done girls.  Here is a sneak peak of what we were working on yesterday.

Tracey was quilting her Double Crossed baby quilt.
Colleen was working on a Canadian Thimbleberries bag.

Charlene was sewing her rows together on her Lovers Knot quilt.  Beautiful!
Theresa was putting together a soft minky blanket for her son.
Jane was quilting a quilt made by her sister.
Terry was strip piecing a scrappy nine patch quilt.  I think she said this was her ninth or so scrap quilt and her stash is getting down.  Good job, Terry!
I'm excited to say that our next guild meeting will be at our Third Annual Quilt Retreat in Kenosee, SK.  This is a weekend of staying in our pyjamas and sewing the weekend away.  No cooking, no cleaning, no kids, no hockey, no husbands...need I say more?

  1. Looks like you are much more productive with heat on at the church!! I am sure I missed a good time! Can't wait for retreat! See you in a week!!

  2. Have a super retreat ... green with envy here although Jill is offering a day long quilt-as-you go class tomorrow so we should have some fun too.
