Yesterday...

our guild met in Weyburn at Chris' house for our annual Christmas get together.  Chris suggested something a bit different this year and that included a catered meal and working on a quilt together.

Theresa, me, Jane, Debra, Terry, Chris & Colleen
What a spread!
Chris has a knack for decorating and entertaining.  At the table, everything was in its proper place, just like the Oasis of the Seas!  We had a lot of fun working together on a special quilt.  Earlier in the year we decided to do a Guild Quilt, so Christa gave us a jumping off point and we just ran with it, not knowing where we would end up.  No pattern, no fabric, only an idea.  The finished quilt turned out beautifully, but I will only show pictures of the finished quilt when it is quilted and bound.  Stay tuned for that.

We wanted to say a Thank You to Debra.  She had cleaned out her sewing room and made up little gift bags of fabric, thread and notions that she no longer wanted and gave a bag to each guild member.  Wow!  I loved my 30's charm pack.

We do have a scheduled guild date this Thursday, so maybe we will see each other on Thursday...a busy time of year for guild.
